Covai Chinmayam is a thoughtfully designed senior living community, developed by CovaiCare in collaboration with Chinmaya Mission Coimbatore. Located in Nallur Vayal on Siruvani Main Road, Coimbatore, it is a short 20-minute drive from the city. The project is rooted deeply in Vedantic culture and spiritual values, offering a lifestyle of dignity, purpose, and wellness to its residents. Inspired by the vision of Swami Chinmayananda, Covai Chinmayam emphasizes elder care, community bonding, and active aging. Sprawled across 10.38 acres, the community features 80 independent villas and operates under the guiding principle of “Living with Purpose,” seamlessly combining spiritual wellness with practical elder care.

Amenities

Covai Chinmayam offers a wide range of amenities tailored to foster spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being among its residents. At the heart of the community is Chinmaya Mauli – the Community Centre, which houses a meditation and prayer hall, library, indoor games area, mini theatre, multipurpose hall, and a spacious dining area. A common kitchen ensures hygienic, vegetarian meals for all residents in a communal dining facility.

Designed with elders in mind, the villas and facilities are wheelchair-friendly and equipped with grab rails, anti-skid tiles, and emergency call systems. Beautifully landscaped gardens, herbal and spiritual patches, walking tracks, and gazebos create a serene environment for relaxation and social interaction. Wellness-focused amenities include a dedicated yoga and meditation space, a geriatric gym, and an in-house wellness centre.

Security is prioritized with 24×7 personnel, CCTV surveillance, intercom, and EPABX communication systems. Healthcare services include regular doctor visits, emergency hospital tie-ups, and an ambulance on call. Trained caregiving staff ensures timely support for all residents.

The community also supports daily lifestyle needs with services like housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, cab arrangements, and concierge assistance. Recreational, cultural, and spiritual engagements—including festive celebrations, religious discourses, and bhajans help build a vibrant and connected community life.

Accommodation

Covai Chinmayam features 80 independent villas configured as 2 BHK and 2.5 BHK units. Plot sizes range from 1,280 to 2,200 sq. ft., with built-up areas approximately between 1,000 and 1,500 sq. ft. The homes are thoughtfully designed with senior-friendly architecture, promoting natural lighting and ventilation. Each villa includes private verandas or gardens and is constructed with low-maintenance materials and senior-optimized storage spaces. Apart from the villas, the community features 1BHK Apartments with plot size  560sq. ft.

In terms of utilities and sustainability, the project includes solar water heating, rainwater harvesting systems, energy-efficient lighting, and a backup power supply for all common areas. Water needs are met through borewells and storage facilities, ensuring uninterrupted service and resource conservation.
