Ananda Ashram

Ananda Ashram is a luxury assisted living home operated by the Navodaya Association for Promotion of Indian Heritage, designed to offer senior residents comfort, care, and cultural enrichment in a secure, supportive environment. The Ashram regularly celebrates national and religious festivals such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, and Senior Citizens Day, fostering a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Residents enjoy picnics, cultural outings, and outstation trips, allowing them to remain connected with society and nature.

Amenities

The Ashram offers a wide range of services that balance comfort, health, and engagement. Recreational activities include regular sessions of music, films, seminars, and guest interactions, as well as access to a library both within and outside the campus. Residents are encouraged to pursue hobbies like gardening, fishing, and creative arts, including writing, magazine publishing, and cultural performances. Free yoga classes are held twice a week to promote physical and mental well-being. Safety is prioritized with CCTV surveillance, handrails throughout the premises, and emergency ambulance support available within minutes. Health services include 24×7 care by attendants, basic first aid, routine medication, monthly health check-ups, and free visits to local specialists. Rooms and common areas are equipped with intercom and telephone systems for emergency communication. Additional daily services include bed-making, dusting, bathroom cleaning, laundry, hair grooming, and nail clipping to maintain hygiene. Staff also support medication monitoring, provide room service for meals during illness, and supply newspapers and magazines for leisure. Residents can use hired cars for city travel or medical visits. Meals are planned by a qualified dietician to cater to senior dietary needs. The kitchen uses organic vegetables grown in the Ashram garden and prepares meals with light vegetable oils for healthy cooking. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available, and personal preferences are considered in meal planning.

Accommodation

Ananda Ashram provides a total of 12 residential rooms, 9 on the ground floor, 2 newly built twin-sharing rooms on the first floor, and 1 guest room for visiting relatives. Each room includes an attached bathroom, toilet, and private balcony. Standard features include a 4-inch foam mattress with bedding, fixed backrest, reading and night lamps, a double-leaf steel almirah with a mirror, locker, and hangers, bedside table with bookshelf, chair, folding table, ceiling fan, and lighting fixtures. Ample storage is available through lofts, and windows are fitted with curtains and insect nets. Beside each bed is a calling bell with a switch panel.

Bathrooms are senior-friendly, equipped with geysers, shower stools, cosmetic racks, mixture taps, and toilets with commodes and telephone showers.

  • Single: ₹3,00,000 (General) + ₹2,00,000 (Medical)

  • Double: ₹5,50,000 (General) + ₹4,00,000 (Medical)

• First Floor:

  • Single: ₹4,50,000 (General) + ₹2,50,000 (Medical)

  • Double: ₹8,50,000 (General) + ₹4,50,000 (Medical)

 General deposits are refundable with up to 15% deductions depending on the length of stay. Medical deposits are fully refundable after deducting unreimbursed medical costs.
