Samprapti Foundation

Samprapti Foundation is the heartfelt vision of Mr. Shiva Kumar, who personally funds the organization without any government or private-sector aid. Established in 2011, it was created as a safe shelter for the needy, ranging from orphaned children and helpless women to physically or mentally challenged individuals. The foundation’s focus is not on luxury, but on providing a dignified and comfortable life, particularly for residents who are bedridden or living with psychiatric and degenerative conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder. Guided by the motto “Help us to help the Living”, the organization also supports working families who may lack the time or proximity to care for their elders.

Amenities
Each floor features a dining room, and the facility includes a kitchen, laundry services, visitors’ room, recreation room, library, and an open courtyard. Meals are strictly vegetarian, with daily changing menus that incorporate fresh vegetables, fruits, cereals such as rice and ragi, dals, salads, curries, milk, tea or coffee, sprouts, and other nutrient-rich items. Healthcare is a priority, with daily doctor visits, 24-hour nursing care, doctors on call, ambulances for emergencies, and essential medical equipment including oxygen cylinders, suction machines, glucometers, nebulizers, and pulse oximeters. For recreation and learning, residents have access to newspapers, television, and a library stocked with magazines and novels in English, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil encouraging mental stimulation and leisure.

Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in single, double, and triple-sharing rooms, all with attached toilets, along with a dormitory option for those who prefer communal living. The rooms are fully furnished and designed for comfort, available in single, double, and triple occupancy, each with attached toilets for privacy and convenience. In addition to the dormitory option, residents can enjoy communal spaces such as the visitors’ room, recreation room, library, and open courtyard, which foster a sense of community. A pooja room offers a space for spiritual connection, while the onsite office supports smooth day-to-day administration.
