Param Shantidham

Paramshantidham Vriddhashram is a charitable institution dedicated to offering free care and support to destitute elderly individuals aged 60 and above who have no family support. Founded by Vairatvasi Abanandgiri Maharaj, who serves as the Founder and Chief Trustee, the ashram operates on the principles of compassion, inclusivity, and respect. True to its mission, it provides care without any discrimination based on caste, creed, or religion. Every resident is assured of lifelong support, reflecting the ashram’s commitment to serving society’s most vulnerable elders with dignity and kindness.

Amenities

The ashram ensures that all basic needs are provided at no cost. Residents receive food, shelter, clothing, medical facilities, beds, bed sheets, and necessary equipment. In addition to physical care, the ashram places equal importance on mental and spiritual well-being by organizing entertainment and cultural activities such as bhajans and kirtans. Comprehensive support extends beyond daily living; once admitted, residents are cared for throughout their lives, and the ashram even undertakes funeral arrangements free of charge, ensuring complete dignity from admission until the end of life. Life at the ashram follows a structured daily routine. The day begins at 5:00 a.m., ending with Dinner served at 8:00 p.m., after which residents retire for the night. This rhythm of spiritual practice, nourishment, and rest helps maintain balance and community harmony.

Accommodation

Admission into Paramshantidham Vriddhashram is limited to destitute elderly individuals who meet specific eligibility criteria. Applicants must be 60 years of age or older, without sons, property, or a regular monthly income. A set of documents is required for admission. Once admitted, residents are assured lifelong care, making the ashram a true sanctuary for the elderly in need.
