Rukmani Amar Aangan is a warm, thoughtfully created space for independent seniors who want to live comfortably and with dignity. Surrounded by nature and peace, it’s more than just an assisted living facility, it’s a community. Run with care by the Radhakishan Rukmani Devi Poddar Charitable Trust, this not-for-profit home is especially welcoming to elders whose children live abroad or in other cities. To keep families close, it even offers short-stay rooms for visiting loved ones, with easy booking for NRIs.

Amenities

Rukmani provides an array of amenities for the residents keeping in mind physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. The Healthcare facilities include doctor’s visit once a fortnight, In-house physiotherapy available daily, Ambulance facility and emergency medical services on payment, Emergency medical department equipped with life-saving devices like defibrillators, Nutritionist and diet specialist on call and In-house first aid arrangements in case of emergencies. The complex provides healthy, vegetarian meals with eggs available on certain days. Meals include breakfast, lunch, tea & snacks, dinner, and milk at night. Food prepared using 100% organic, aquaponically-grown vegetables. Additionally, weekly special Sunday treats are provided. The recreational activities include yoga & meditation sessions, gardening opportunities with a dedicated walking path, an AV room for movie screenings every fortnight, games room with board games and card tables, Library and daily newspapers, Musical, cultural, and festive programs organized regularly, Birthday and anniversary celebrations promoting social interaction and Community gathering spaces and a Zen-style garden with water features promotes social interaction between residents. A web station with broadband for live video interaction with family, free Wi-Fi across the facility and Intercoms in every room for uninterrupted connectivity with family and friends. The premises is equipped with 24-hour security with CCTV surveillance, Emergency call bells in all bathrooms, Anti-skid Spanish floor tiles and Kohler bathroom fittings, full generator backup, two-way switches for easy mobility and elevator access to all floors. Daily room and bathroom cleaning, common areas cleaned twice daily, weekly linen change, laundry available and pest control conducted as needed these facilities ensures a hygienic living. Additionally, an In-house salon for grooming needs, on-call pharmacy for timely medicine delivery and a temple with a priest for spiritual beliefs is present within the campus.

Rukmani Amar provides 24 air-conditioned and 6 non-air-conditioned rooms with single or twin sharing options. Every room features amenities that include Beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, flat-screen TVs, Safe deposit box, intercom, Wi-Fi, and provision for a small refrigerator, Attached bathrooms with geyser, emergency call bell, and anti-skid flooring. Monthly rental packages starting at 36,000, with a security deposit of 3.8 lakhs
