Mauli Seva Shushrusha Kendra, also known simply as Mauli Seva Kendra, is a non-profit elder-care facility located in Pune, Maharashtra. The goal is to ensure that seniors can live worry-free and create meaningful memories in a homely atmosphere. The organization operates two centers in Pune: one at, Dhankawadi, and the other at, Undri.

Amenities

Mauli Seva provides on-site visits by qualified doctors to ensure that all residents undergo regular health check-ups and receive timely care as needed. Nutrition is a core focus, with meals made using fresh and often organic fruits and vegetables. The facility supports special dietary needs, including fasting preferences and nasogastric feeding diets. Milk is provided on demand. Meals follow a structured pattern with variety in daily breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Special meals are also prepared for Sundays and festive occasions. A dedicated housekeeping team ensures the premises remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Daily tasks include room cleaning, bed alignment, bed sheet changes, and toilet sanitation. Weekly cleaning covers furniture dusting, as well as the maintenance of carpets and curtains. Regular grooming services like teeth cleaning, haircuts, nail clipping, and shaving are provided. Caretakers are available 24/7, and residents can also opt for bedside assistants for tasks like bathing, mobility support, and personal hygiene. The centre ensures access to RO-purified drinking water and features separate kitchens and maid services for enhanced comfort. Indoors, residents can enjoy reading Hindi, Marathi, or English newspapers, access religious and general reading books, or relax in comfortable verandas and balconies. Many rooms are equipped with televisions, and swings (jhulas) add a nostalgic touch to leisure time. Occasionally, outdoor one-day trips are arranged by bus to nearby destinations, giving residents a refreshing change of scenery and the chance to explore.

Seva Kendra offers a range of accommodation options to suit varying needs and financial capacities. Residents can choose from private rooms, semi-private rooms, or general (shared) rooms, each designed to provide a safe and supportive living experience. The fee structure is flexible and customizable, depending on the specific care requirements and challenges faced by each individual. Families are encouraged to schedule in-person meetings with the staff to better understand the available options and to select the most appropriate arrangement for their loved ones. A single occupancy room costs Rs. 3,200 per month, and a double occupancy room costs Rs. 6,400 per month.
