Gandhi Old Age Home

Founded in 2001 by, Gandhi Old Age Home operates as a registered voluntary organisation under the Gandhi Education Society and is officially registered with the Physically Handicapped & Senior Citizens Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka. Entirely donor-funded, it relies solely on financial and in-kind contributions to sustain its operations. For more than 23 years, the home has served as a safe haven for elderly individuals who are abandoned, bedridden, handicapped, or otherwise in need of dedicated care. Today, a team of 15 staff members cares for around 100 residents, supported by the generosity of over 1,000 donors.

Amenities
Residents are provided with nutritious meals prepared daily to ensure a balanced diet and promote their health and well-being. The facility is designed to be senior-friendly, with furnished rooms, accessible ramps, and 24/7 security for comfort and safety. Comprehensive medical care is available at all times, including round-the-clock support, regular health check-ups, and the presence of both doctors and nurses, along with emergency services when needed.

Accommodation
Living spaces are designed to combine safety, accessibility, and warmth. Rooms are furnished to meet the needs of seniors, and ramps throughout the property ensure ease of movement. The environment is kept secure and comfortable, with continuous attention to accessibility and round-the-clock protection, ensuring that residents feel both cared for and at home.
